This radio looks original but offers today’s technology!
Our 1954–55 1st Series Chevrolet truck radio is designed to look and feel just like the original but with some modern, hidden features! This radio is equipped with a hidden touchscreen built into the dial glass to allow for pushbutton-type functions that were not available when the truck was new. You will have the ability to save radio station presets as well as use the touchscreen for Bluetooth® features such as play/pause and answer/hang up just by placing your finger on the dial glass. Behind the dash, the radio case is only 3” deep, allowing room for electric wipers and air conditioning. The AM scale on the dial glass is copied from the original; hidden on the background is a smaller FM dial scale. To switch between AM and FM, just quickly turn the radio off and back on again.
This radio does not have a digital display.
When the radio is powered on, the dial pointer and knobs all move and work like the original. Every radio comes equipped with Bluetooth® for wireless audio streaming and hands-free phone control. Other features include a 3.5mm auxiliary port to plug in any compatible device, such as an MP3 player or a CD player, as well as another input jack specifically designed to work with our foot control switch. Each radio comes with a 12 ½” 12 wire harness with male and female connections for easy connection/disconnection. This harness includes power, ground, a 12-volt output wire (for options like a power antenna or amplifier remote connection), 4 speaker connections (unless speakers are already built onto radio) and dial lights. - Radio is compatible with XM radio receivers using the 3.5mm input jack. (XM is not included with the radio purchase)
- An additional input jack specifically for use with our foot control switch option is included.

- Do not use original, grounded speakers! Radio has a protective circuit that shuts down if a speaker wire is grounded or has faults.
- Speaker recommendations: 40+ watts RMS rating, 4 Ohms, SPL 88+
- Four low-level outputs + 1 subwoofer RCA output located on the back of the radio for use with an external amplifier.
- Controls use the same size and thread shafts as the original. Mounting nuts are included.
- Control operations include on/off, volume, tone, tuning, balance, and a hidden fader function, all from original-looking and feeling analog controls.
- The volume control is on the right side, and the tuning control is on the left side, like the original.
- The touchscreen can save 5 FM preset stations and 5 AM preset stations.
- Memory retention (presets and other user settings) with power disconnected, no need for constantpower!
- LED dial lights are green to match the original
- Standard (Motorola) antenna jack located on the back of the radio
