Our 1964-66 Chevrolet & GMC truck radio is part of our dream line and is designed to look, fit, and feel like the original, but it is not an exact copy. Prior to 1964, all Chevrolet and GMC Truck radios were unique and different from any car radio. In 1964, Chevrolet slightly modified the full-size passenger car manual tune radio to fit the trucks. This radio was used through the 1966 model year. The only difference between the 1964 Impala and the 1964-66 Chevrolet Truck radio is the tuning shaft bushing and the knobs. Although the Passenger cars had 3 radio options (manual-tuned AM, Pushbutton AM, and AM/FM), only the manual-tuned radios were used in the trucks.

This dream line model has the exact fit of the original radio. Using the correct chrome front and backrings, it keeps the same look but also comes with some additional features that were not available on the original radio, such as a slidebar and pushbuttons! With these added features, you can push the slidebar to roll the dial scale between AM and FM and save preset stations in AM and FM using the 5 pushbuttons!

Behind the dash, the radio case is only 4.5” deep, allowing room for air conditioning and other options to be added.

This radio does not have a digital display. When the radio is powered on, the dial pointer and knobs move and work like the original did. Every radio comes equipped with Bluetooth® for wireless audio streaming and hands-free phone control. Other features include a 3.5mm auxiliary port to plug in any compatible device, such as an MP3 player or a CD player, as well as another input jack specifically designed to work with our foot control switch. Each radio comes with a 12 ½” 12 wire harness with male and female connections for easy connection/disconnection. This harness includes power, ground, a 12-volt output wire (for options like a power antenna or amplifier remote connection), 4 speaker connections, and dial lights. • Do not use original, grounded speakers! Radio has a protective circuit that shuts down if a speaker wire is grounded or has faults.

• Radio operates on 11.5-16 Volts DC, negative ground only!
• Controls use the same size and thread shafts as the original. Mounting nuts are included.
• Control operations include on/off, volume, tone, tuning, balance, and a hidden fader function, all from original-looking and feeling analog controls.
• Pushbuttons can save 5 FM preset stations and 5 AM preset stations.
• Memory retention (presets and other user settings) with power disconnected, no need for constant power!
